Our Story

​Holy Grail Film Company is the brainchild of Chad Bailey Werner and Jeff McQuitty, two dynamic filmmakers whose collaboration began over a decade ago at the University of Texas, where they met in a Freshman Interest Group and quickly bonded over a shared passion for storytelling and comedy. What started with student projects soon evolved into a long-running creative partnership: spanning short films, music videos, and documentaries.

After years of working on feature films, television, and documentaries—both independently and as part of their comedy collective, The Cuddle Squad—they decided to unite their efforts under one banner: Holy Grail Film Co. More than just a production company, it’s the culmination of their combined experience, vision, and relentless pursuit of storytelling excellence.

While under their co-direction they aim to be interchangeable in most aspects of filmmaking, Jeff’s expertise in cinematography and Chad’s strength in producing deserve their due. They lean on each other’s talents to ensure every project—whether a podcast, commercial, or full-scale feature film—is crafted with the highest level of care and creativity.
